Throughout the year our women come together for celebration and fellowship, conferences and more. Each year looks a little different as we take advantage of nearby conferences and events, but every year we gather corporately for a few annual events including

– Women’s Ministry Kick-off Event in September
– Christmas Gathering on the second Saturday in December
– Retreat in March

The Valley View Women’s Prayer Ministry exists to encourage, support and challenge each other to develop dynamic personal prayer lives as we come together to pray for each other and intercede for the needs of our families, community and world. Prayer opportunities include personal prayer time together, email prayer teams, prayer requests follow-up, one-on-one prayer commitment and more. There are three main areas that our team serves Valley View Church in prayer:

Monthly Women’s Prayer Meeting

We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10 am for corporate prayer in Room 204. This is open to all women. We have a short time of teaching, share testimonies, meet new friends and encourage each other as we pray for one another, our church, and our community. For information about our next prayer meeting, click here.

Encouragement Cards and Calls

Write cards for encouragement, bereavement and prayer follow up. To learn more about being a part of this team, contact Robert Trego.

Email Prayer Team

Commit to pray for requests as they are received through email. To join this team, contact Robert Trego.

The Service Ministry Area offers our women opportunities to engage in meaningful service time together meeting the needs of others in our church body and our community while sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways. These opportunities include Maryhurst (GALS), Nursing Homes/Shut-ins, New Moms, and more. To learn more or get involved, contact Robert Trego.
