Enduring through Falls
Not only is Sanders not stuck in bed the rest of his life from his falls, he’s setting human endurance records! After my mere three-day hike with my son last year (which required a tremendous effort), I’m amazed anyone could hike the Appalachian trail, at any age, let alone at 91. Apparently Mr. Sanders held the record back when he was a spry 83 years old. But his best friend stole the record out from under him the next year at 84. Neither shared how many times they fell (if at all) back in those younger days. Ever since then, though, Sanders had been planning to take back his title of “most tenured trail trekker”.
It’s a little cliche, but certainly relevant, to say that even when we take a tumble, it’s important to get back up and keep moving forward. It’s the only way one will finish the hike (at any age) and it’s the only way to experience all that God has for us in our Christian life.

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with us at Valley View Church. Our worship services are Sunday Mornings at 11 AM.
Our main entrance is in the back of the building. We have parking spots reserved near the entrance for first time guests. You’ll see them near the overhang that extends out from the entrance.
As you enter the building, we have people ready to greet you and help direct you to the second floor Worship Center. Once you find a seat, you might have a few people introduce themselves to you. We try to be a friendly and welcoming church, but don’t worry, we won’t do anything to put you on the spot during the service.
Our service lasts about an hour and the flow is pretty simple : some singing, some prayer, and some Bible teaching.
After the service, our pastor will personally follow up with you if you have any questions about the church. Fill out a connection card in the seat back in front of you, place it in one of our giving stations, and he will contact you within the week.

Come and grow with those who are in the same season of life. Groups meet on campus on Sundays at 9:30am and off campus throughout the week.

Wednesdays at 6:30pm
On Wednesday nights, discipleship groups, or dgroups, help us grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Every few weeks we start new dgroups on a variety of topics for men, women, parents, as well as a Bible book study. We also have engaging groups for kids and students, birth-high school, on Sundays and Wednesdays.
