Our Strategy

Our four-part strategy is the path by which we accomplish our mission. It is a flashlight that will clearly show next steps and guide us to a clear understanding of how we make disciples at Valley View Church. This strategy is the framework that blends all our ministry programs and activities into one meaningful whole that intentionally works together in harmony. Without this path, we can forget how each part fits into the mission and begin to lose the strength of our unified effort. Our strategy helps us see the way and connects all we do to the mission and vision of the church.

Hands lifted in worship, diversity

For us, everything begins with worshiping together. Worship is the environment that serves as the engine driving everything else we do as a church. It is the first step into the life of Valley View Church. More than simply attending a church service, this is when we gather to worship our Savior with other believers and where we gain unity and strength as a body.

Facing one another in authentic and diverse relationships

Groups are the pipeline to build community with one another. Isolation is dangerous, but when we connect with others we are strong. Groups are the environment where we build meaningful relationships with other believers seeking to grow deeper in their personal relationships with Jesus.

Forward movement, light penetrating the darkness

Serving is the heartbeat of Jesus. In fact, Scripture teaches us in Mark 10:45, “The Son of man did not come to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.” Here at Valley View we are intentional about mobilizing ourselves to serve within the church as well as serving outside the church to reach those far from God.

Christ at the center of every home; gospel-driven families

When we talk about Faith @ Home we mean everyday people living out their faith everyday. Faith is not something we express only on Sunday mornings. At Valley View we are intentional to equip and challenge you to live out your faith in your everyday life.
