2 Corinthians 5:14-15
14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
We believe the love of Christ compels us to demonstrate His love to all people.
Serving is the heartbeat of Jesus. In fact, Scripture teaches us in Mark 10:45, “The Son of man did not come to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many.” Here at Valley View we are intentional about mobilizing ourselves to serve within the church as well as serving outside the church to reach those far from God.
There are many ways in which we reach out to meet the needs of our church family and community.
- Our Dare-To-Care House serves our local community by providing non-perishable food items every Thursday from 11am-12:30 pm.
- Our Project Hope ministry provides small household appliances and furniture to those in need in our area.
- Our life groups serve regularly in our community in a variety of ways as opportunities arise.
- Together we support local, national and international missions through financial donations and through participation in short-term missions trips.
We also have multiple opportunities for our church members to serve one another in a variety of ways from teaching kids to serving with the Worship Team on Sundays and Wednesdays.
